This year's Quilters' Quest will take place from Thursday, November 9th - Saturday, November 18th. The 10 participating stores will be open Monday-Saturday from 9:30am-6:00pm and Sunday, 11:00am-4:00pm. New for 2017, each shop is picking a movie and will transform their shop so you can experience the magic of Hollywood! You are going to have so much fun!

The focus of this class on circle templates and curved rulers will present a new world of design options. Learn how to read and use the markings on the templates, and the tricks for making half circles, flattened circles, and perfectly curved lines. These are the basic components of every pieced quilt top, and there are tricks to quilting them differently while creating a cohesive overall look. Learn how to select and adapt designs to complement each area, and how to accomplish the quilting efficiently and easily. Tried and true fillers and "go to" designs will be featured. Does your machine need a little TLC? Get your machine tuned-up so you can continue sewing and embroidering. Call the shop and schedule to bring in your machine. Repairs will be completed in one day, with next day pick-up.

Have you ever wanted to paper piece but were afraid to try? We have the perfect class for you! This "A Little Bit ShorterTall Tree" pattern by Cindi Edgerton is a great way to start. Use your own embellishments to make this tree your own. Pattern includes tissue paper foundations to make two tree quilts. Please have pieces cut out per the pattern instructions prior to class. In this class, students will continue to improve and expand their knowledge of beginning quilting techniques. Students will learn how to construct half square triangles and make a Friendship Star quilt. Instructor: Sherri. Time: 5:00-8:00pm

You requested her and we are pleased to have Phyllis Reeves come back as guest instructor. She will be teaching a newly released pattern that makes a beautiful quilt called "Lemoyne Trails". This fun pattern combines Lemoyne Stars with the Snails Trail blocks to create an eye catching quilt top. Using Studio 180 tools, you will learn how easy it is to create these blocks accurately with very little fabric waste. During class, we will learn the steps to make a Lemoyne Star block with 2 different background fabrics and a Snails Trail block with multiple colors. Several of you already have the Lemoyne ruler by Deb Tucker and this is a chance to use it again. This is a two-day class-Friday, July 14th and Saturday, July 15th. We will use the Lemoyne ruler on Friday and the Tucker Trimer and Squared Square on Saturday to create this very unique quilt. The class will fill up fast, so call and sign up soon to save your seat.
